Cookie Policy
Cookies and local storage are different
A cookie is a small value exchanged between your browser and the website. Local storage keeps a setting in that browser until it is changed or removed. Both are described here because the store uses a session for shopping and a local record for your cookie-panel choice. Neither should be confused with the private order record saved after a successful request. Choosing a cookie option is not accepting an offer or authorising a payment.
The essential shopping session
The cookie named rkh_session connects your cart, form security token and request reference to the browsing session. It supports the service you ask the site to provide, rather than advertising. It is a session cookie, with no fixed multi-month lifetime; browser session-restoration features can keep a session available longer than expected. Blocking this cookie may prevent cart updates or a request from being saved correctly.
The preference record and its duration
The local-storage key rkhydroseedingllc.com.cookie-choice.v1 remembers the choice made in the cookie panel. It applies to this browser and website origin, not automatically to another device, browser profile or domain. It remains until you change the choice or clear the site data. It does not contain a payment-card number, create a customer account or act as an order-history service.
Optional analytics and advertising
No optional analytics or advertising scripts are loaded by this version of the store. Accepting an optional choice therefore does not activate a hidden analytics service, and rejecting it does not remove access to the product catalogue. If optional technologies are introduced in future, their actual purpose and controls must be explained before use where consent is required; the current choice is not unlimited permission for future tracking.
Changing a choice or removing storage
Reopen Cookie settings in the footer to use the available preference controls. To remove the record completely, use your browser’s site-data settings and clear both cookies and local storage for the relevant host. Clearing browsing history alone may not remove either. After removal the panel may reappear and a session cart may be lost. A saved server-side request is not cancelled or erased by this browser action.
Shared devices and preview navigation
On a shared computer, close the shopping session and clear site data when appropriate so the next person does not inherit your cart. The prysmvest.com preview may also use sf_site and sf_version to select the storefront and immutable release for navigation. These preview-routing values are not merchant advertising identifiers. Removing them can change which preview opens, but does not alter an already saved private request.
Privacy questions and support
Contact [email protected] if you need an explanation of storage used by R K HYDRO SEEDING, LLC. Do not email cookie contents or session identifiers: they may expose your session. Security records, order requests and correspondence have separate retention rules in the Privacy Policy; their periods are not cookie lifetimes. Ask for server-record deletion through the privacy procedure rather than assuming that clearing local storage will remove it.
